How to join NDA Academy

  1. Meet Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for NDA, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Only unmarried male candidates between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age who have completed their 10+2 education or are appearing in their 10+2 exams are eligible to apply for NDA.

  2. Register for the UPSC Exam: Candidates need to apply for the NDA exam through the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) by registering themselves for the NDA examination. The registration process is done online, and candidates need to provide their basic details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information while registering.

  3. Download Admit Card: After the registration process is complete, the UPSC will release the admit card for the examination. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the UPSC using their registration ID and password.

  4. Appear for the Written Exam: The NDA exam is conducted in two stages: a written exam and an interview. The written exam consists of two papers – Mathematics and General Ability Test. The exam is conducted for a total of 900 marks.

  5. Clear SSB Interview: Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for an interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB). The SSB interview is a comprehensive process that includes physical fitness tests, psychological tests, and group discussion rounds. The SSB interview is conducted for a total of 900 marks.

  6. Medical Examination: After clearing the SSB interview, candidates have to undergo a medical examination to determine their fitness level for service in the Indian Armed Forces.

  7. Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the written exam, SSB interview, and medical examination.
